User guide
These are traditional bonsai scissors designed for tasks such as pruning small branches and root cutting. Compared to other bonsai scissors, this model is built to be particularly thick and robust, allowing it to cut through thicker branches.
Total length: 185mm
Blade length: 47mm
*Please note that slight variations in length may occur due to the hand-forged nature of the product.
(Comparison with other shears)
We compared this model with the standard No.40B bonsai shears. The No.42B is noticeably larger overall; the blade width, blade thickness, and handle thickness are all distinctly different. There is also a significant difference in weight: the No.40B weighs approximately 150g, whereas the No.42B weighs approximately 240g. This demonstrates just how sturdily the No.42B is constructed.

On the other hand, since the Deba knife cuts through the hard bones of fish, it uses a blank piece of paper that is slightly prone to chipping (it's not obvious at first glance). If you use blue steel with high hardness, it might slip .
Blue steel is the hardest. Because it is so hard, it may slip when cutting thick branches. However, it lasts a long time.
(Scissors case)
This is a leather case for Bonsai scissors. It can be attached to a belt. This case is convenient for working with large bonsai trees while standing.
