Bonsai Tool: Stainless Steel Root Rake with Integrated Handle (By Kaneshin) 1-Prong Large Bonsai root rake (Nesabaki), 1-prong. Also known as a root hook (Nekaki). It is a tool used for untangling roots. This product is easy to hold and comfortable to use.

Under the guidance of professional bonsai artists, the angle for No.553S was designed to have less resistance, allowing you to untangle roots more carefully.
We had been producing only No.553S, but since some bonsai artists required the older shape of No.553SA, we have brought it back.
No.553S has a stronger catch, which creates more resistance, but it makes the work faster accordingly.

(How to choose a root rake) Root untangling tools come in 3-prong, 2-prong, and 1-prong varieties, and they are generally used as follows:
For untangling roots carefully, or when dealing with firmly packed and hardened roots: 1-prong or 2-prong.
For prioritizing speed, or for roots that are not densely packed: 3-prong.
